Online top-up now available

How many times over the last few months have you tried to print something, realised you’ve run out of credit but had no cash on you to top-up your account? We are pleased to let you know that the wait is over and online top-up is here! For those of you who are unfamiliar with adding credit using your debit/credit card, the process couldn’t be any simpler.

Firstly, you may wish to check your balance before topping up or attempting to print/copy/scan. To do this simply login to a library PC and select the desktop icon labelled ‘Check My Print Balance’.

There are three ways to access the Equitrac Web Deposit Centre (WDC) in order to add money to your account:

1) When using a library computer you can double-click on the ‘Top-up My Print Account’ icon that appears on the desktop;
2) When using a library computer or your own device, open Google Chrome (both the VLE and WDC work better when using this browser) and navigate to the Online Library. On the My Accounts page you should select the link that appears beneath the ‘Printing account’ heading; or
3) Go directly to http://www.bpp.com/StudentPrinting.

After entering your network username and password (these are the login details that you use to access both your VLE and the library computers), please click the ‘Login’ button. Selecting the Deposit icon will display your current balance and the option to top-up using your debit/credit card. After inputting the amount that you wish to add (a value from £1 to £50), your name and an email address for the receipt to be sent to, you must read and accept the Terms & Conditions, Scanning Copyright Policy and Refund Policy before clicking on ‘Submit’.

After selecting your payment method you will be asked to input your debit/credit card details and then confirm your payment; at this stage you can choose to amend the transaction by clicking ‘Back’. Alternatively you can cancel the process completely. In both instances, providing you have supplied a valid email address, you will be issued with a receipt. The final page of the process will display your updated balance, after which you should remember to log out of the system.
